Morro is an implementation-intentions commitment tool designed for your waking routine. It is provided strictly “AS IS.” By installing, configuring, or arming alarms via Morro, you acknowledge that Android hardware environments, operating system task killers, and OEM power-saving algorithms are beyond our physical control.
Morro is a commitment device for the first task of your day. It pairs audio promises with physical and cognitive wake-up gates to increase morning accountability. Morro is not a medical device, nor a psychological cure for procrastination or clinical sleep disorders.
You remain solely responsible for your sleep hygiene, lifestyle decisions, and morning schedule.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
IN NO EVENT SHALL MORRO, ITS DEVELOPERS, FOUNDERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE FAILURE OF AN ALARM TO RING, ACTIVATE, OR SOUND AS SCHEDULED.
THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION: MISSED FLIGHTS, TRAIN DEPARTURES, OR TRANSIT COMMUTES; MISSED JOB INTERVIEWS, DISMISSALS, OR PROFESSIONAL PENALTIES; FAILED ACADEMIC EXAMINATIONS; MISSED MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS; BUSINESS DISRUPTIONS; OR ANY PHYSICAL, MENTAL, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES WHATSOEVER.
Modern Android operating systems contain vendor-specific power management software (frequently implemented by OEMs including Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo, Huawei, and others). These vendor systems may aggressively terminate background services, purge alarms from hardware registers, or stall foreground notifications during deep Doze states without developer consent.
While Morro implements maximum production defenses (AlarmManager.setAlarmClock(), lock screen takeover flags, and reboot reschedule receivers), we cannot override hardware battery exhaustion, OEM firmware kills, silent volume overrides, or corrupted hardware states.
By arming alarms through Morro, you explicitly accept the obligation to:
Morro requires an active, paid subscription and account login to unlock full alarm scheduling and mission capabilities. Subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing in accordance with Google Play's standard terms, renewal cadences, and cancellation windows.
If your subscription expires or is cancelled, previously scheduled alarms may be disarmed upon entitlement token expiration. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Google Play Store subscription management dashboard.
All voice memos, audio recordings, and commitment routines created within Morro remain your exclusive property. You grant Morro no license to your recordings beyond the local operational playback required to sound the alarm on your hardware device. Recordings remain strictly within your device's context.filesDir sandbox.
